Indications for therapeutic massage
Therapeutic massage is indicated for many clinical and wellness situations:
- Muscular tension in the back, shoulders and neck (often related to desk work)
- Sports recovery after training or competition
- Chronic pain: lower back pain, neck pain, myofascial pain
- Post-injury rehabilitation and post-surgical recovery
- Stress and fatigue: improved sleep and quality of life
- Edema and water retention (lymphatic drainage)
- Migraines and tension headaches
Techniques practiced at our Agadir clinic
- Swedish massage: deep muscle relaxation and circulation activation
- Myofascial release: releasing connective-tissue tension
- Deep tissue massage for chronic pain
- Sports massage: preparation and recovery
- Manual lymphatic drainage
- Percussion massage gun therapy
- Therapeutic taping to maintain session benefits between visits
How a session unfolds
Each session begins with a brief assessment (tension areas, history, goals) to personalize the massage. A session lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. You can book a one-off session (relaxation, recovery) or a multi-session protocol as a complement to physiotherapy.
Documented benefits
Beyond immediate well-being, regular therapeutic massage promotes better blood and lymphatic circulation, accelerates the elimination of muscle toxins, reduces cortisol (the stress hormone), and improves joint range of motion. It complements our other treatments perfectly: pressotherapy, laser therapy and clinical Pilates.
